您是否常常因繁忙的教學與行政工作,而難以抽出時間投入教育研究與學術發表?或是您希望透過研究來改善教學困境,卻一時不知該從何下手?
本場工作坊我們很榮幸的邀請到國際學者 – Dr. Carrie Chen。
Carrie教授本身長期投入臨床教育、能力本位教育(Competency-Based Education, CBE)以及可信賴專業活動 ( Entrustable Professional Activities ,EPAs ) 等相關研究,具有豐富的實務經驗與研究成果。希望透過工作坊的形式,帶領參與者學習如何在有限時間內,將想法有效的落實為文字,並將其轉化為具學術價值的研究成果與發表。

Description
It can be difficult for faculty to find time in their busy schedules to pursue educational research and scholarship. This workshop will focus on strategies for turning work that faculty may already be doing into scholarship and explore various options for scholarly dissemination. It will address ways that faculty can position themselves for success such as taking scholarly approaches to curriculum development, development of project aims or research questions, use of conceptual frameworks, attending to process as well as outcomes, and tips for finding time and getting ideas down on paper. Using a worksheet, faculty will have the opportunity to take examples from their own work, consider scholarship possibilities, and work through potential next steps to engage in a scholarly project and/or generate a scholarly dissemination.
Objectives
📍Describe how a person can position themselves and their work for successful educational scholarship
📍Compare different strategies for turning work into scholarship with various dissemination options
📍Analyze an idea or project for potential dissemination opportunities
📍Prepare a plan with next steps for engaging in scholarship and/or scholarly dissemination.
